The Autumn Reset: From Months of Planning to Finally Welcoming Our Guests

It's Tomorrow

The Natamiri Autumn Reset Begins Tomorrow: Behind the Scenes of My First Wellness Retreat

After months of planning, dreaming, organising and preparing, the moment has finally arrived. The Natamiri Autumn Reset begins tomorrow!

As I write this, everything is coming together for our three-day wellness retreat in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, and I cannot quite believe we are finally at this point.

What started as an idea, a vision and a desire to create something special for women has become a real experience, with every little detail thoughtfully planned and prepared.

With the menus finalised, itineraries sent, bags being packed and the last few preparations underway, I can just about take a breath and look forward to welcoming our lovely guests.

The planning, preparation and all the little details

Anyone who has organised a wellness retreat will know just how much goes on behind the scenes. There is so much more to creating a retreat than finding a beautiful house and putting a few yoga sessions in the diary!

From planning the schedule and arranging the workshops to choosing the food, organising activities and thinking about all those little touches that make guests feel welcome, it has been a real labour of love.

I have spent so much time thinking about how I want our guests to feel when they arrive. I wanted The Autumn Reset to feel welcoming, relaxed and personal. A few days where women can step away from their everyday responsibilities, enjoy some time for themselves and feel completely looked after.

The itinerary has been carefully put together to allow time for yoga, mindfulness, manifestation, workshops, delicious food, nature and, importantly, time to simply relax.

There is a lovely balance between planned activities and the freedom to enjoy the house and its surroundings at your own pace.

The menus are ready!

One of my favourite parts of preparing for the retreat has been planning the food.

Unfortunately, due to the number of guests, I wasn't able to go ahead with Hampshire Vegan Catering this time. They have been so courteous and supportive throughout this journey, and I feel very lucky to have found them. I will definitely be using them another time!

Ultimately, though, this has given me the opportunity to prepare the food myself. I have now completed my Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate, so I am qualified in food hygiene to cater for the retreat.

There is something so special about sharing good food around a table, and I wanted our menus to feel comforting, seasonal and delicious.

From homemade soups and freshly prepared lunches to afternoon tea and cake, our gala dinner and homemade Eton mess, there has been plenty of thought put into what we will be enjoying together.

The menus are now finalised, the food preparations are underway, and I am looking forward to those lovely moments around the table when everyone can sit back, enjoy a meal and have a good chat.

Of course, there has also been plenty of shopping, cooking, freezing and organising along the way!

It is all part of creating an experience that feels special, without losing that relaxed, homely feeling that is so important to Natamiri.

A retreat built around our MMY Method™

At the heart of everything we do at Natamiri Retreats is our MMY Method™: Manifestation, Mindfulness and Yoga.

These three elements have shaped the whole experience, from the workshops and yoga sessions to the moments of quiet reflection and connection.

I am so grateful to our wonderful facilitators, Melissa and Zofie, who will be leading our yoga and mindset sessions and helping to bring the retreat to life.

Our guests will enjoy gentle yoga, guided mindset and manifestation workshops, mindfulness, time outdoors and opportunities to rest and recharge.

There will be space to reflect on what they want to welcome into their lives, what they might be ready to let go of, and how they can take some of that feeling of calm and intention back home with them.

Of course, there is absolutely no pressure to achieve anything.

This is about taking time for yourself, being present and enjoying the experience.

The little touches that make it special

I have loved thinking about the little details that will make the retreat feel uniquely Natamiri.

From our signature candle and Monuskin skincare goodies to the thoughtful touches around the house, I hope that when our guests arrive, they will feel that everything has been prepared with care.

We have our beautiful surroundings, the pool and hot tub, yoga, workshops, lovely food and our final sauna experience at Fallen Willow Sauna to look forward to.

Above all, I am excited about the people.

There is something lovely about bringing a small group of women together, many of whom may not have met before, and creating a space where they can relax, connect, share conversations and simply enjoy being themselves.

I hope that by the end of our time together, everyone will have made some lovely memories and taken away something meaningful from the experience.

Now, it's time for me to reset too

After all the planning, organising, shopping, cooking and finalising every last detail, I think I am just as ready for The Autumn Reset as our guests are!

There is always something else that could be done, another detail to check or another little thing to organise. At some point, you have to trust the preparation, let go of the to-do list and enjoy what you have created.

That is exactly what I am looking forward to doing.

I cannot wait to meet our lovely ladies, welcome them into our beautiful retreat house and share these special few days together.

I am looking forward to the yoga, the workshops, the delicious food, the laughter, the conversations, the moments of stillness and all those little unexpected moments that make a retreat memorable.

The preparations are almost complete. Now it's time to pause, reconnect and reset.

Here's to a beautiful few days, new friendships, lovely memories and welcoming autumn with intention.

With love,

Natasha x
