One of the first questions people ask after booking their place is:
"What should I pack?"
The good news is, you probably already own everything you need.
At Natamiri, there is no dress code, no expectation to wear expensive activewear and no pressure to look a certain way. Our retreat is about feeling comfortable, relaxed and completely yourself.
If there is one thing I'd encourage you to bring above everything else, it's an open mind.
Everything else is simply there to help you feel at home.
Your Natamiri Packing List
Comfortable Everyday Clothes
Pack clothes that help you feel relaxed.
Think leggings, joggers, loose trousers, comfortable T-shirts, cosy knitwear and layers. As our Autumn Reset takes place at the end of September, the weather can vary throughout the day, so it's always worth bringing a few extra layers.
Choose clothes that allow you to move, stretch and unwind with ease.
Something Lovely for Dinner
Although there is no dress code, many guests enjoy making dinner feel like a special occasion.
Perhaps you'll bring a favourite dress, or maybe you'll feel happiest in jeans and a lovely top.
Whatever you choose, wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident.
There is absolutely no expectation to dress up—this is your retreat.
Yoga Clothes
Our yoga sessions with Yoga With Mellisa are suitable for every level.
Wear anything you can move comfortably in.
If you already own a yoga mat, you're very welcome to bring it. If not, don't worry—we'll happily provide one for you.
Slippers or Indoor Shoes
One of the ways we create a calm, peaceful atmosphere is by asking guests to leave outdoor shoes at the entrance.
Please bring a pair of slippers, cosy socks or comfortable indoor shoes to wear around the house.
It's a small ritual that helps everyone feel instantly more at home.
Swimwear
Don't forget your swimsuit.
You'll have time to enjoy the heated outdoor pool and hot tub, and we'll also be experiencing an outdoor sauna and cold plunge.
Participation is always optional, but it's an experience many guests really enjoy.
A Warm Jacket or Dry Robe
September mornings and evenings can feel fresh, especially if you're walking between the house, the pool, hot tub or sauna.
A warm coat, waterproof jacket or dry robe is ideal.
Many guests also like bringing a dressing gown to throw on after a swim or before wandering down to breakfast.
Choose whatever feels most comfortable for you.
Beach Towel
Please bring a beach or pool towel for use around the pool, hot tub and sauna.
Bathroom towels will be provided for your stay.
Comfortable Shoes
You'll probably spend more time outdoors than you expect.
Bring trainers, walking shoes or comfortable casual footwear for gentle walks and exploring the grounds.
Toiletries
Pack everything you would normally take for a relaxing few days away.
Including:
Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Skincare products
- Shampoo and conditioner
- Shower gel
- Hairbrush
- Deodorant
- Any medication you require
- Hairdryer if needed
A Journal
Many guests enjoy bringing a notebook or journal to capture thoughts and reflections during the retreat.
You'll be spending time in Manifestation and Mindfulness workshops with Zofie Lloyd-Kucia, founder of Relax Me Happy, and you may find yourself wanting to write down ideas, intentions or moments of inspiration.
If journalling isn't normally part of your routine, don't worry. You may find the peaceful surroundings inspire you to begin.
A Good Book
One of life's simplest pleasures is reading without constantly checking the time.
Bring the book you've been meaning to start—or finish.
You may only read a chapter.
You may lose yourself in it for an afternoon beside the pool.
Either way, you've given yourself the gift of time.
Things You Can Leave at Home
Sometimes it's just as helpful to know what you don't need.
You can leave behind:
Expensive yoga clothes.
- Pressure to look a certain way.
- High heels.
- A busy schedule.
- The feeling that you always have to be productive.
- The expectation that you need to get everything "right."
- For three days, your only job is to slow down and take care of yourself.
More Than a Suitcase
Most guests arrive carrying more than luggage.
They arrive carrying busy minds.
Long to-do lists.
Responsibilities.
The weight of constantly looking after everyone else.
My hope is that you leave with something much lighter.
A calmer mind.
A rested body.
New friendships.
Fresh perspective.
And perhaps the gentle reminder that making time for yourself isn't something to feel guilty about—it's something to be proud of.
Pause & Reflect
Journal Prompt
As you imagine packing for your retreat, think beyond your suitcase.
What thoughts, habits or worries would you most like to leave behind for three days?
Now imagine returning home.
What three feelings would you love to bring back with you?
Write them down and keep them somewhere you'll see them before you arrive.
A Gentle Practice
This evening, pack one item that makes you feel instantly relaxed.
It might be your favourite jumper, a cosy pair of pyjamas, a well-loved book or your softest slippers.
Notice how even that one small choice is an act of looking after yourself.
