What makes a good employee reward?
A gift voucher is useful. Dinner is enjoyable. A day out can be fun.
But what if the reward was something increasingly difficult to find in everyday life?
Time.
Time away from emails, deadlines and the usual routine.
Time to sleep, eat well, spend time outdoors and simply do something for yourself.
It’s an idea I’ve been thinking about as Natamiri develops: 'Could a place on a wellness retreat be a meaningful way for an organisation to recognise and reward its employees?'
Something to Look Forward To
A retreat isn’t just a reward that happens on one particular day.
There is the anticipation beforehand.
Looking forward to a change of scenery.
Knowing that, for a few days, someone else has taken care of the details.
And then there is the experience itself.
At Natamiri, that means a balance of gentle yoga, mindfulness and manifestation, nourishing food and plenty of time to relax.
There is no expectation to be busy.
You might join a workshop, swim, sit outside with a cup of tea, read a book or simply enjoy having nowhere else to be.
Who Might It Suit?
A wellness retreat could be considered as an employee incentive for someone who has:
- Reached a significant milestone
- Made an exceptional contribution
- Completed a demanding project
- Been with the organisation for many years
- Supported their team through a particularly busy period
It could also form part of a wider employee recognition or wellbeing programme.
It doesn’t necessarily have to be about performance.
Sometimes recognising someone simply means saying:
“We appreciate you.”
Why a Retreat?
The beauty of a retreat as an incentive is that it takes someone away from their usual environment.
There are no meetings to attend and no work-related objectives to achieve.
It’s not another course or team-building exercise.
It’s simply an opportunity to pause.
For someone who spends much of their working life looking after other people, solving problems or managing a busy schedule, that can be a surprisingly generous gift.
The Natamiri Approach
Our retreats are built around the MMY Method™ — Manifestation • Mindfulness • Yoga.
Alongside the planned sessions, there is plenty of space to enjoy the surroundings, eat nourishing food, meet new people or spend time alone.
It’s deliberately not a retreat where every minute is filled.
Freedom to choose what you need is part of the experience.
A Different Kind of Thank You
A Natamiri retreat is a considered, premium employee incentive—something to offer when you want to give someone an experience that feels genuinely special.
It could be used to recognise exceptional contribution, celebrate a significant milestone or simply show someone that their time and wellbeing are valued.
It’s not an everyday workplace perk.
It’s a memorable experience, designed to feel like a real treat.
Could It Work for Your Organisation?
We’re interested in connecting with organisations across Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset and the surrounding areas that have suitable employee wellbeing, recognition or incentive budgets.
A place on a scheduled retreat could be gifted to an individual, or we can explore options for organisations looking for something more bespoke.
If you’re responsible for HR, People & Culture, employee wellbeing or staff rewards, we’d be happy to have a conversation about whether Natamiri could be a good fit for your organisation.
Rest. Reconnect. Reset.

An Opportunity for September
If you're looking for an employee reward or wellbeing incentive for the months ahead, our Autumn Reset Retreat, taking place from 28–30 September 2026 in Wiltshire, could be a wonderful option to consider.
A place could be gifted to an individual employee as a meaningful reward or recognition, giving them three days away from the usual routine to rest, recharge and enjoy a genuinely memorable experience.
And if September isn't quite the right timing, we'd also be happy to discuss future Natamiri retreats or explore bespoke options for your organisation.
