Booking your first wellness retreat can feel exciting...
...and perhaps just a little daunting.
If you're thinking about joining us at Natamiri, you may already have a few questions running through your mind.
Will I fit in?
What if I've never done yoga before?
Will everyone else know each other?
What actually happens at a wellness retreat?
These are all completely natural questions.
Since launching Natamiri, many of the conversations I've had with prospective guests have started in exactly the same way. So I thought I'd answer the questions I'm asked most often, in the hope that they help you feel reassured and excited about what could be waiting for you.
After all, booking a retreat isn't just about choosing a date in your diary.
It's about choosing yourself.
"I've never been on a wellness retreat before. Will I feel out of place?"
Not at all.
In fact, many people who join a wellness retreat are doing so for the very first time.
You don't need to have practised yoga.
You don't need to meditate every day.
You don't need to know anything about manifestation.
Our Autumn Reset has been thoughtfully designed to welcome complete beginners as well as those who already have their own wellbeing practices.
You simply need to arrive with an open mind.
"Do I have to come with someone?"
No.
Many people choose to come on their own.
In fact, travelling solo is often one of the most rewarding parts of the experience.
Without the usual responsibilities or distractions, you have the opportunity to fully focus on yourself, meet like-minded people and enjoy everything at your own pace.

"Do I need to be good at yoga?"
Definitely not.
Yoga at Natamiri isn't about perfect poses or being flexible.
It's about reconnecting with your body, your breath and the present moment.
Our yoga sessions are led by Mellisa from Yoga With Mellisa, whose calm and encouraging approach ensures every session is suitable for beginners and experienced yogis alike.
You'll always be encouraged to listen to your own body and move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
"What if manifestation isn't really my thing?"
That's absolutely okay.
Manifestation is one of the most misunderstood wellbeing practices.
At Natamiri, it isn't about wishing for things and hoping they appear.
It's about becoming clear on what matters most to you, recognising limiting beliefs and taking intentional action towards the life you want to create.
Our workshops are led by Zofie Lloyd-Kucia, founder of Relax Me Happy, whose practical and down-to-earth approach makes manifestation feel accessible to everyone.
You don't need to believe in anything in particular.
Just bring your curiosity.
"What if I don't want to do every activity?"
You don't have to.
This is your retreat.
Everything has been carefully planned for you, but you're never expected to take part in absolutely everything.
If you'd rather spend an hour reading beside the heated outdoor pool than playing tennis, that's perfectly fine.
If you'd like some quiet time in your room or to enjoy a cup of tea in the gardens, that's absolutely your choice.
Natamiri isn't about doing more.
It's about giving yourself permission to do what you need.
"Will there be enough free time?"
Yes.
In fact, we believe it's one of the most important parts of the retreat.
Between yoga, manifestation and mindfulness workshops, you'll have plenty of time to simply be.
Perhaps you'll relax in the hot tub.
Enjoy the heated outdoor pool.
Read a book in the sunshine.
Experience the outdoor sauna and cold plunge.
Or simply sit quietly and enjoy the peace.
Sometimes the most meaningful moments aren't scheduled at all.
"What will we eat?"
Food is a big part of the Natamiri experience.
Our chef prepares delicious, nourishing plant-based breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Before the retreat, we'll ask about any dietary requirements so every guest feels well looked after.
Meals are relaxed and unhurried, giving everyone the chance to enjoy wonderful food, meaningful conversation and, if you'd like, a glass of wine with dinner.
"Will I have to share personal things with the group?"
Not unless you want to.
Our workshops are designed to feel supportive, never uncomfortable.
Some guests enjoy sharing their thoughts and experiences.
Others prefer to listen quietly and reflect in their own way.
Both are equally welcome.
This is a judgement-free space where you can simply be yourself.
"What should I pack?"
The answer is probably less than you think.
Comfortable clothes.
Yoga clothes.
Slippers or indoor shoes.
Swimwear.
A warm coat or dry robe.
A beach towel.
Toiletries.
A notebook if you enjoy journalling.
A good book.
And most importantly...
An open mind.
We've created a dedicated What to Pack for a Luxury Wellness Retreat guide to help you prepare.
"What if I just need to rest?"
Then you're exactly where you need to be.
So many of us spend our lives looking after everyone else, constantly moving from one responsibility to the next.
Sometimes the kindest thing you can do—for yourself and for those around you—is simply pause.
Our hope is that you leave Natamiri feeling calmer, lighter and more connected to yourself than when you arrived.
Is a Natamiri Retreat Right for You?
If you're looking for a retreat where every minute is scheduled, Natamiri probably isn't the right fit.
But if you're looking for...
Space to breathe.
Time to think.
Gentle movement.
Meaningful conversations.
Beautiful surroundings.
Nourishing food.
Moments of stillness.
And practical tools you can take home with you...
...we'd love to welcome you.
Pause & Reflect
Journal Prompt
Imagine you've just arrived home after three days away.
You're unpacking your bag, making yourself a cup of tea and reflecting on your experience.
What do you hope you'll be saying to yourself?
Write down the first thoughts that come into your mind.
Sometimes our hopes reveal what we need most.
A Gentle Practice
Close your eyes for just one minute.
Imagine yourself arriving at Natamiri.
You step through the front door.
You take a slow, deep breath.
You realise there's nowhere else you need to be.
Notice how your body feels.

Your Invitation
Every Natamiri retreat is built around one simple belief:
You don't have to become someone different to feel better.
Sometimes, all you need is the time and space to reconnect with the person you've always been.
If you've been wondering whether a wellness retreat is right for you, perhaps this is your invitation to stop wondering...
...and start imagining what could be possible.
We'd love to welcome you.
